It has been renovated and equipped with the necessary comforts to spend a pleasant stay full of relaxation and the beauty of the landscape . Lucia and her family will welcome you by pampering you with their breakfast, giving you the right attention, sharing with you the love of their products and the territory. You can explore their cellar and they will be able to advise you on the best itineraries and activities, suggesting tastings in other restaurants and cellars, where the flavours, colors and aromas of the Tuscan food and wine tradition, or, even better, Valdorciana, will reign supreme!

Il Poderuccio is also a farm that produces wine, extra virgin olive oil and fresh organic truffles. The location is an excellent starting point to reach all the most beautiful places in Val d’Orcia, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004. Nearby you can visit the towns of San Quirico d’Orcia, Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, Monticchiello and the beautiful Siena. You can also immerse yourself in the healthy thermal waters of Bagno Vignoni and in the natural thermal baths of Bagni San Filippo. A short distance away, there are the splendid abbeys of Sant’Antimo and Monte Oliveto Maggiore. Monte Amiata offers hiking activities. Our location is an excellent starting point for those wishing to go for walks or mountain biking. Also the Via Francigena is just 2km away.

The Poderuccio has four accommodations for a total of eleven beds, suitable for all those who want to spend a holiday of relaxation, nature, tranquility, good food and incredible landscapes. Prices vary depending on the season, holidays, length of stay and type of accommodation, do not hesitate to contact us even just for information. The price includes final cleaning costs, consumption costs, wi-fi internet, flat screen TV, private parking adjacent to the structure, linen for the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen (further change of linen is possible and free on customer request).

Outside you will be enchanted by a breathtaking view. The terrace, equipped with gazebo, tables, chairs and deck chairs, overlooks Mount Amiata, Rocca d’Orcia, the small village of Vignoni alto, the Castle of Ripa d’Orcia of the twelfth century; in the distance you can see Montepulciano and Monticchiello, the Castle of Velona, the Brunello vines and the bed of the Orcia river. How to reach us

From the north: take the A1 motorway and exit at Bettolle -Valdichiana, then continue for Torrita di Siena – Pienza – San Quirico d’Orcia (35 kms from the exit).

From the south: take the A1 motorway and exit at Chiusi-Chianciano and continue for Monte Amiata – San Quirico d’Orcia (40 kms from the exit).

From the coast: E80 / SS1 – Junction Roselle Grosseto – Paganico – turn right in direction Amiata – then left to Sant’Angelo in colle – Montalcino – San Quirico d’Orcia (70 kms).

From Florence: Siena-Florence motorway, then Siena SS2 (Cassia) towards the south up to San Quirico d’Orcia.

From San Quirico d’Orcia, continue for 5 km towards Ripa d’Orcia Castle until you see a sign on the left – you’ve reached your destination.
